Salo had caused the news a few weeks ago that the successor of the British throne, Prince Williamand his wife Kate Middleton Together with their 3 children, they found themselves in Kefalonia for their summer vacation.
However, Prince William’s family was in Kefalonia, in Greece … “Incognito” so that their arrival and departure would not be perceived. Although King Charles’ son and Kate Middleton went to the Ionian Sea with a luxurious son – who certainly does not go unnoticed – the locals and paparazzi stayed “in the dark” about details of their vacation.
The prince and the princess of Wales, as well as their children, 12 -year -old George, 10 -year -old Charlotte and 7 -year -old Louis, spent most of the time on a super yacht, pressing their foot on land only on arrival and departure.
Of course, this did not prevent the Kefalonians from watching and dealing with the “blue -eyed” holidays, making life as a “fairy tale”. Mystery, however, was the one who belongs to the luxurious yacht where the royal family stayed?
The reason for the yacht Lady Beatrice, formerly owned by the twin brothers David and Frederick Barclay. The luxurious super yacht was sold in February 2025 to British broker Peter Adam Daiches Dubens at a price of close to 22m euros.
Initially, rumors were circulating that the family was traveling with a luxurious £ 340m boat owned by a member of the royal family of the United Arab Emirates.
It was then heard that they were in the Almax yacht, one of the first fuel cell vessels. However, a few days later Almax appeared in Argostoli with different passengers…. the royal family!
Lady Beatrice features interior with special decoration, suites for 16 people, two deck dining and pool on the upper terrace. In the past, the boat was a backdrop of intense moments, as Sir Frederick’s wife had described that the twin brothers had come to the ship on the ship on issues related to their business empire.
According to kefaloniapress.gr, the family arrived in Kefalonia by a private aircraft on July 21 and boarded the boat via a marina near the village of Svoronata. During their stay, the boat remained anchored at various points around the island, with children impressing the inhabitants with their kindness and patience.

Prince George was particularly interested in the bottom of Kefalonia, seeking equipment for maritime exploration. The family’s plans to visit Fiscardo, however, did not succeed, as security officers ruled that the great presence of British tourists would affect their privacy.
So they preferred to stay on their boat, enjoying calm and total isolation. On July 26, William and Kate returned to the United Kingdom, with Prince and Princess Charlotte traveling immediately to Switzerland to watch the Euro final and support the English national team.
The “mystery” of which yacht hosted by the prince was solved, leaving behind stories that the Kefalonians will discuss with interest and excitement.
