Firefighters are attempting to extinguish fire that broke out in a farm area in the area Saint Cosmas of Grevenanear the settlements “Agios Kosmas” and “Ecclesiastical”.
Mobilization of forces
To extinguish the fire they have been immediately mobilized:
- 34 firefighters
- 2 Hiking groups of the 8th EMEM
- 9 vehicles
- 3 aircraft
- 2 helicopters
Aquifers are also assisted by the Local Government Organizations.
At the same time, authorities have issued a message through 112 to keep the residents on alert and to follow their instructions.
