Mild downward trends record values of shares In today’s opening of Athens Shipowner. The market has completed three declining meetings during which the basic stock index records a total loss of 3.44%, while total market capitalization has decreased by 4.4 billion euros.
The Athens Stock Exchange General Price Index at 11:00 am at 2,035.55 points, down 0.38%. The value of transactions is EUR 12.15 million. The high capitalization index declines at 0.46%, while the middle capitalization index fell 0.08%. Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of Lamda Development (+3.93%), Optima Bank (+1.27%) and PPC (+0.84%) were recorded.
On the other hand, the shares of ELPE (-1.80%), Piraeus (-1.42%), Ethniki (-1.32%), EYDAP (-1.24%) and Alpha Bank (-1.05%) are the biggest decline.
42 shares move up, 38 downstream and 14 remain constant.
The biggest gain was recorded by the shares: Three Alpha (+5.29%) and Lamda Development (+3.93%), while the shares decline: Progressive (-3.17%) and ELPE (-1.80%).
European stock markets – negative trends
The climate is also negative in European stock markets, with the biggest losses recorded by the French CAC 40 due to the political crisis of France.
