The announcement of the Ministry of Education Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced, Speaking in the morning at the cabinet: “This year’s academic year will welcome an emblematic innovation, for which our lineup has been fighting for decades. The leadership of the Ministry of Education welcomed the licensing decision, while offering a commitment to support public universities.

“We are completing a historic step, for the benefit of the younger generations of our country. The National Higher Education Authority (NTUA), within its institutional role, approved the applications, which meet the strict conditions set by law. All applications come from well -known universities abroad, and their addition to the Greek academic map has only positive to offer.
Greek society now has maturity, experience and knowledge in order to understand exactly what has been lost for decades and how the country can turn into a strategic advantage into a regional training hub. We give the opportunity to higher education in Greece, to keep up with international trends, enhance extroversion and provide more choices to our young people.
