O Stefanos Tsitsipas was excluded by his “32” US Openas he lost 7-6, 1-6, 4-6, 6-3, 7-5, by German, Daniel Altmier, in the 2nd round of the last Grand Slam of the year.
Tsitsipas arrived at a match point in the 10th game for 6-4, but Altmier “extinguished” it, then tied up 5-5, brewed and kept his serve to reach 7-5 and qualify for the first time in his career in the “32” US Open.
Immediately after the match ended and 3-2 in favor of the German tennis playerthere was a moment of tension between the two athletes, as they approached the dick to give their hands, with the Greek champion expressing in a… aggressive way his complaints about the Underarm Service used by his opponent.
In the video around the internet, specifically Tsitsipas seems to tell the German tennis player who ruled him out: “Next time don’t wonder why I’m trying to hit you.”
Altmier seemed particularly annoyed by the words of the 27 -year -old champion and immediately asked him to get away with him – with the gesture he made – while not wanting to continue the incident.
