Zelenski “sees” the framework for security guarantees next week – wants Turkey’s participation

With the war in Ukraine to continue, the Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenskihe seems to be trying to ally with as many leaders as possible to reach a peace agreement with Russia that does not need to concession.

Volodimir Zelenski expects the framework for security guarantees for Ukraine will be determined next week to stop Russian aggression.

In this context the Ukrainian president had Telephone conversation with Recep Tayyip Erdogan in which he discussed extensively the issue of Russian aggression.

“National Security Counselors are now working on each particular element and the entire framework will be ready in writing next week,” he said after telephone.

Ukraine’s National Security Council and Defense Council of National Security and Defense visited Turkey today to ask for the issue, as well as bilateral defense cooperation, Umero said via a Facebook post.

Zelenski said the Turkish Foreign Minister would participate in talks “to investigate” Turkey’s possible involvement in security guarantees, especially in the Black Sea.

Ankara, for its part, welcomed discussions about security guarantees and said it would contribute to any initiative to ensure constant peace in Ukraine.

The conversation came after the massive Russian attack on Kiev during the night where 19 people were killed and affecting, among other things, a Turkish operation.
