Intensive are in full swing checks of the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE) to tourist destinations with increased traffic.
During the period August 16-25, 2025, Mixed AADE scales performed extensive checks in Rhodes, Paros, Crete, Hydra, Corfu and Piraeus, where more than more than 400 violations of non -issuance of tax information.
In this context, AADE identified significant violations with typical examples as follows with photographic material from the checks:
- In Rhodes, 306 beer boxes were found in a wholesale and retail of drinks without intended evidence, while non -issued documents were charged with 285 bottles worth almost 7,000 euros. At the same time, a restaurant, a marine toy business and an ice cream store found the non -issuance of a total of almost 90 documents worth more than 6,000 euros.
- In Paros, a well -known restaurant did not issue 3 documents worth more than 1,800 euros.
- In Chania, in barbecue and in a lease of umbrella seeds, a total of 49 non -issued documents were identified
- In Hydra, two café -bar checks revealed 45 non -issued documents.
- In Corfu, a series of catering and leisure businesses were found without the issuance of evidence.
- Finally, in Piraeus, a 20 -document was recorded in a restaurant.
In all cases, the AADE auditors have imposed fines and the “padlock” of the business for 48 hours.
AADE’s operational actions continue with unabated tension throughout the territorywith the aim of protecting consumers, enhancing tax compliance and supporting consistent professionals.
