Fire broke out on Wednesday morning (27.8.25) in the area where the PPC gas plant is located in Aliveri Euboea.
Reportedly, the fire broke out next to the PPC plant and specifically the gas unit in Karavos Aliveri, Evia, burning dry grass and reeds.
Eight men with four vehicles of the Aliveri Fire Brigade, two vehicles of the Fire Brigade from Kymi and two from Chalkida, immediately rushed to the spot.
Thanks to the immediate intervention of the Fire Brigade, the fire was quickly delimited before it could take dangerous dimensions.
