Emmanuel Karalis, Miltos Tentoglou and Elina Gengho are thrown into the battle of the Diamond League final in Lecigrund, Zurich.
Three Greeks, two men and one woman are preparing to represent the Greek colors in the last big test before the mass … campaign in Tokyo.
Zurich’s Letsigrund is once again the place of the final of the Diamond League series, which, like any chronic, gathers much of the classic elite, including Miltos Tentoglou, Emmanuel Karalis and the rookie at this great celebration, Elina.
The first two fight the Wednesday 27 August to 19:35 and 18:43 respectively, while Gengho Next day (28/8) to 20:45.
OR ERT3 will cover the final, Wednesday between 18:30-20:30 and on Thursday between 20:00-23:00.
The series began very early this year, on April 26 in Siamese, China and, according to the new system, is completed before the World Championship is completed.
In 2025 three more “diamond” Greek victories were added – by Elina Gengho to Shanghai and Rabat and Emmanuel Karalis in Lausanne – raising the total number from 2010, the year that the Diamond League replaced the Golden League in 39. Katerina Stefanidis remains first on the list with 15.

In particular, six Greek firsts have been recorded in the final match of the Diamond League, although they have not all led to the acquisition of the diamond, as the format was different in the past. The diamond has been made four times by Katerina Stefanidis and one by one by Nikol Kyriakopoulou and Miltos Tentoglou.
Now, anyone who wins the final, wins the diamond, but also – under conditions – a place at the Tokyo World Championships. It is also worth noting that the regulation of the latest effort with the first rankings will not apply to the throws and horizontal jumps.
