Three earthquakes size 4.8, 4.2 and 4.3 on the Richter scale were marked in the west Turkey by 16 minutes apart on Sunday night (24.08.2025).
The three consecutive earthquakes caused disruption in the Baliskir province in western Turkey, where a strong 6.1 Richter earthquake had a strong earthquake.
Based on the data from the Euro -Mediterranean Seismological Center, the focus of seismic vibrations lies 55 kilometers south of Baliskir and 100 kilometers northeast of Smyrna.

The epicenter is the same as the earthquake of August 10, the Baliskir Sidirgi area, and their focal depth was found at 7 kilometers.
The vibration of 4.8 degrees was also felt in the surrounding provinces.
According to the Turkish Facility for Natural Disaster and Extraordinary Conditions (AFAD), the first 4.8 -degree vibration was recorded at 21:58, followed at 22:00 and 22:14 two other earthquakes of 4.2 and 4.3 Richter respectively.
Turkish Interior Minister Ali Gerlikaya announced that the competent workshops began checks for any disasters.

Baliskir Prefect, Ismail Ustoglou, said that “so far no negative situation has been recorded”.
