Overthrow in Israel: The Benjamin Netanyahu He stated on Thursday night (21.08.2025) that he “ordered” to launch negotiations immediately to liberate all Israeli hostages held in Gaza and “to end the war on terms of Israel”.
Netanyahu made this announcement in a video released by his office in response to the new ceasefire proposal presented by the mediators. In the same message, she also said she is preparing to approve the plans of the Israeli Army for a major attack aimed at occupying her city Gauze.
However, a few hours after his statement, his office explained to the Times of Israel that no Israeli delegation would be sent “to this stage” neither to Doha nor to Cairo to participate in talks on a ceasefire and release of the hostages.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the Gaza Division:
“We’re at the decisive stage. I came today to the Gaza Division in order to approve the plans that the IDF presented to me and to the Defense Minister for taking control of Gaza City and defeating Hamas. pic.twitter.com/07VxSaHfQ1— Prime Minister of Israel (@IsraeliPM) August 21, 2025
Netanyahu did not clarify who addressed his order and avoided, once again, to declare whether Israel was ready to accept the proposal of a gradual hostage release, which Hamas had approved Monday.
