The moon recorded by the James WebB space telescope in February around Skyit is so small, slightly larger than 90 football stadiums – that an average person could cross it in just a few hours.
According to the NASA announcement, it was given the temporary name S/2025 U1, but the official naming will be made after approval by the International Astronomical Union.
All the satellites of heaven have been named after Shakespeare’s and Alexander Pope’s works.
The sky has 28 well -known satellites who rotate around it, but according to astronomers, there are likely that there are other small moons that have not yet been identified.

“It’s a small moon, but an important discovery,” said Maryme El Moutamid, a lead scientist at the Southwest Research Institute, who led the team that made the discovery.
