To fire -stricken Achaia The Secretary General of the Central Committee of the KKE was found, Dimitris Koutsoubas, who met with residents of fire -stricken areas of the Municipality of Patras and West Achaia, as well as with workers from the industrial area.
In his speech, Mr. Koutsoubas criticized the intense lack of planning and the situation in the area. In particular, it described it as unacceptable that in a specific, demarcated industrial area, there is insufficient fire safety, with the responsibility of the big workers, who, he said, refused to close the factories, even for a few hours, while the fire was around.
The KKE Secretary -General stressed that there is only a small fire station with significant shortcomings in the area and that the workers themselves are in danger, as there are no escape exits in the event of an accident. Dimitris Koutsouba’s visit will be concluded by a speech at a meeting with local agencies at Achaia Clauss.
