A man lost his life and many others have been injured by derailment train made today Friday (15/8/2025) in south Denmark. The train appears to collide with a farm vehicle at the level of a crossing.
The derailment of the train, where about 95 people were carrying over 30 children, took place between the cities of Tinglev and Kliplev in Denmark, in the South Yutland area, and was destined for Soderburg with the event manager of the event talking about “significant catastrophe”.
According to the Daily Mail, a man lost his life, and there are many injuries with the seriousness of the injuries remaining unclear as the situation is evolving. Two of them are transported by helicopter.
Police have used dogs and drones in her investigations, and reports report that the wagons derailed in the accident were two.


According to a report by Jydske Vestkysten, a medium in Denmark, about 20 people, including about 20 children, have been accompanied by the train and away from the site of the accident.

Many of them are “dirty” and wrapped in firefighters and bandages, said a local journalist at the site of the accident. He added that many of them can walk on their own, while others are transported by police.

“We are in a railway accident with several injured near Tinglev,” Denmark’s southern Yutland police said in X. Police also confirms that they are on the spot near Tinglev, along with other rescue services.

The DSB company website says there will be no trains between Tinglev and Sønderborg for the rest of the day while the DSB is trying to secure buses for passenger transport.

Banedanmark, a Danish service responsible for maintaining and controlling traffic throughout the Danish state rail network, says the train collided with a vehicle in a level crossing and has sent a research team to the spot to examine what happened.
There has been a train spur on the stretch between Tinglev and Kliplev after a train has hit a vehicle in an overpass. Baned Denmark has a study guard on the way to the site to investigate what has happened. The stretch has so far been blocked for traffic.

One resident who was near when the incident happened, said on a news website: “We heard an explosion. Shortly thereafter, we felt a weird, metallic smell. We hear all the sirens and understand what’s going on. “
In fact, it is recalled that earlier this summer, another accident occurred in a level crossing on the same part of the line.
