The Russian government’s plane landed in Alaska ahead of the talks between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin for Ukraine, according to the Flightradar24 flight monitoring system.
The plane departed from the city of Magadan, the Russian Far East, where the Russian president was earlier today.
Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin are optimistic about the outcome of the meeting, each for his own reasons, while the US president stressed that he wants to quickly see a ceasefire in Ukraine and even today.
In the new video from his conversation with reporters at the Air Force One released by Donald Trump, he replies what will be considered a success of the current summit.
“I can’t tell you that. I don’t know if there is anything definitive. I want specific things. I want to see a ceasefire. This has nothing to do with Europe. Europe does not tell me what to do, but it will be involved in the process, obviously, like Zelenski, but I want to see a ceasefire quickly.
I don’t know if it will happen today, but I will not be happy if not today.
Everyone says it can’t be done today, but I just say that I want the killings to stop. I’m here to stop killing.

Zelenski accuses Russia of continuing to “kill” in his country and before the Alaska Summit
Ukraine President Volodimir Zelenski said today that Russia is still attacking Ukraine ahead of the summit between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, but her attempt to show power by launching a new attack on the east.
“On the day of the negotiations, they still kill people. And that says a lot,” Zelenski said in a post in the Telegram messaging application.
In his daily speech to the nation, Zelenski assured that despite this meeting, there is no “sign” that Moscow intends to stop invasion. “The war continues.

German citizens doubt that Trump will support Ukraine

55% of respondents also say that the negotiating power in the talks are on the Russian president’s side, and only 15% believe in President Trump’s negotiating power, while 30% are undecided.
