With limited fluctuations, shares are moving in the opening of today (14.8.2025) session of the Stock Exchange, in the midst of an upward movement of European market.
The market has completed eight upward meetings during which the basic stock index records a total of 8.35%. The General Index on the Greek Stock Exchange stands at 2,123.11 points, with a marginal decline of 0.08%.
The value of the transactions is € 20.55 million. The high capitalization index is marginal rise at 0.04%, while the middle capitalization index is up 0.20%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of PPA (+1.85%), Eurobank (+0.52%) and Alpha Bank (+0.45%) recorded the highest increase. On the other hand, the shares of Titan (-0.76%), Aegean Airlines (-0.70%) and ELPE (-0.64%) are the biggest decline.
53 shares move up, 28 down and 20 remain constant.
The biggest rise was recorded by Minerva (+8.19%) and Cekrops (+4.12%), while the shares are the highest drop: Akritas (-9.96%) and Elyda (-1.96%)
European stock markets
European stocks have risen today to two weeks high trading, with investors focusing their interest on corporate results and financial announcements.
The Pan -European Stoxx 600 index rose 0.25%. The FTSE 100 on the London Stock Exchange fell 0.15%, while the German DAX index is up 0.28%and the French CAC 40 by 0.38%. The FTSE MIB in Milan rose 0.75% and Spanish IBEX 35 0.59%.
The British economy was developed faster than expected 0.3% in the second quarter, according to official figures. Economists in a Reuters survey, as well as the Bank of England, had predicted growth of 0.1% for the April – June period.
