The content of the posts does not express Greece’s official position, the Foreign Ministry said about posts made by the Greek Embassy account on Facebook in favor of the Gaza Strip demonstrations.
The ministry’s spokesman, Lana Zohiou, answering a journalist’s question:
«Law -proceedings have already launched administrative and disciplinary procedures to clarify the conditions under which the controversial posting on the official social media account of the Embassy of Greece in Luxembourg took place and to attribute similar responsibilities.
It is emphasized that the content of this post does not express the official position of our country».
It is recalled that the official account of the Greek Embassy in Luxembourg was posted on the Gaza demonstrations organized on Sunday (10/8).
“In more than 100 parts of the country, in the islands and in the mainland, there are today mobilizations demanding” to stop the genocide “in Gaza”, mentioned, among other things, the post that came down in a matter of minutes.
