One of the top tennis players of all time, Monica Seles revealed that she is suffering from a rare disease The muscles, the so -called gravis, facing significant problems in her daily life.
Monica Seles, who had won 9 Grand Slam in her great career in tennis and was also known for the unparalleled incident with her fan stabbing, shocked by describing her illness, but appeared ready for a new restart in her life.
More specifically, Monica Seps spoke to the Associated Press and said: “I was playing with children or relatives and I lost the ball. I was thinking “yes, I see two balls”. These are obviously symptoms that you can’t ignore. For me then this trip began. And it took me a long time to really assimilate it and talk about it openly because it’s difficult. It greatly affects my daily life. Even drying my hair became very difficult.
I sometimes had to make a difficult reboot. The first time was when I came to the US in my 13th (from then Yugoslavia). I didn’t know the language, I left my family. It was a very difficult time. Then, obviously becoming a great player, is also a reset because reputation, money, attention changes everything. And it is difficult as a 16 -year -old to deal with all this. And then obviously the stabbing. I had to make a huge reset.
