Patients upward trends record shares prices in the opening of today (11.8.2025) session of Athens Shipowneramid mild upward movement of European markets.
The Athens Stock Exchange has completed five upward meetings, during which the main stock market has made a total of 5.62%.
Specifically, the General Price Index, at 11:00, stands at 2,074.89 points up 0.23%. The value of the transactions amounts to EUR 18.55 million.
The high capitalization index rose 0.14%, while the medium capitalization index is up 0.49%.
Of the high capitalization shares, Aegean Airlines (+4.53%), Metlen (+3.01%), Jumbo (+1.38%) and Lamda Development (+1.05%) recorded the highest.
On the other hand, OTE (-1.07%), Piraeus (-1.05%) and EYDAP (-0.41%) are the largest decline.
63 shares move up, 27 down and 16 remain constant. Aegean Airlines (+4.53%) and Pairis (+4.39%) recorded the most, while Akritas (-3.77%) and Daios (-2.76%) are the largest decline.
European stock markets are moving upward
European stock markets have risen today at the start of transactions, following the positive momentum created last week thanks to optimism for a possible peace deal for Ukraine.
The Pan -European Stoxx 600 index rose 0.3% to 10:08 am Greece, remaining close to its highest level since July 31.
Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski secured the diplomatic support from Europe and NATO ahead of the Russian-US summit this week, where Kiev fears Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Donald. Trump, who is expected to meet with Putin in Alaska on Friday, said a possible deal would include exchanges of territories “for the benefit of both” sides.
