In spite of the great effort and the high offer, the PAOK has not been able to seize Slavia Prague’s “yes” for the transfer of Christos Zafiri.
According to reports from the Czech Republic, the Czech club also rejected PAOK’s second proposal, which reached 10.5 million euros, along with an additional 1.5m euros in bonuses, and allegedly accepted a 20% resale rate in favor of Slavia.
This does not mean that PAOK will leave its case, as the “black and white” are determined to acquire the international media and make it a resident of Thessaloniki. However, Slavia’s attitude is expected to make the club very difficult, as Zaf is essential and irreplaceable for the Czechs.
It is worth noting that PAOK, who kept Yiannis Constantelia on his roster, after the acquisition of George Yakoumakis for the position of center forward, wants Zafiris, reinforcing the Greek element of his roster, while adding enough quality.
