On Sunday (10.08.2025), the Victory Avenue at Thessaloniki will close for vehicles and hand over to pedestrianin the context of the pilot initiative of the Municipality that is implemented twice each month.
The sidewalks will apply from 19:00 until midnight, in the section between Eleftherios Venizelos and White Pyrgos streets in Thessaloniki, where pedestrians can go. Vehicle traffic will be channeled through El. Venizelos, Metropolis and the rest of the main roads.
To serve the similar properties, Plutarch and Dimosthenous Streets will be temporarily two -way, and access will only be accessed to and from Dimosthenous, Plutarch and Metropolis.
The Thessaloniki Traffic Police will take increased traffic regulation measures and will place wheels at the hubs. It invites drivers to show understanding and to comply with the suggestions, adjusting their speed and avoiding unnecessary movement in the area.
