At slightly higher levels the stock prices were closed at the last meeting of the week at Athens Stock Exchangeas the initial mild liquidation was absorbed for short -term degeneration with the market to close in a new 15 -year -old new.
The Athens Stock Exchange’s General Price Index closed at 2,070.13 points, up 0.13%, making the highest closure of the Greek market since the April 1, 2010 meeting (2,095.02 points).
On a weekly basis, the basic stock market index recorded 5.62%, while by the beginning of the year it rose 40.86%.
The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 216.14 million, with 32,273,057 shares.
The high capitalization index rose 0.15%, while the mid -capitalization index rose 0.18%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the shares of ELPE (+3.05%), AIA (+1.72%), Metlen (+1.48%), Piraeus (+0.95%) and OTE (+0.82%) were the largest.
On the other hand, the biggest decline was made by Motor Oil (-2.02%), Jumbo (-1.97%), Cyprus (-1.86%) and PPA (-1.49%).
The largest volume of trading was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank with 8,383,036 and 4,266,977 shares, respectively.
Mytileneos scored 32.20 million euros and Alpha Bank with € 29.42 million.
56 shares were on the rise, 45 declining and 24 remained stable.
The shares rose the most: Progressive (+22.02%) and Attic Publications (+9.57%).
The biggest decline was recorded by ELVE (-3.70%) and caressed (-2.98%).
