Most seriously injured 41 -year -old carrying burns from explosion of a gas bottle that upset the town of Thessalonikiwhile others have, according to preliminary data, injuries to glasses fragments.
For the incident, the 86 -year -old rented room was arrested.
The injured were taken to the Maditos Health Center.
“I heard an explosion and my daughter started shouting … I heard voices through the house,” said one of the rescuers who rushed to the spot. Another eyewitness, told reporters: “I saw people panicked and injured by glasses.”

Regarding the explosion of gas bottle in rented rooms in the Asprovalta area, the EKAB said in a statement that its forces responded immediately, with the first ambulances reaching the spot within three minutes of receiving the call.
Two injured -one man with 40% of 1st and 2nd degrees burns at 40% and one woman with 1st degree burns at 20% -were taken by EKAB rescuers in a controlled state at the Thessaloniki General Hospital “George Papanikolaou”.
The operational response has been immediate and fully coordinated, ensuring the stabilization of the injured situation, but also their rapid and safe intercourse.
