In an emergency state is the military base Fort Stewart in Georgia of USAwhen an armed person invaded the space and began shooting.
The shooting incident is ongoing on the US military base, according to a statement by the base administration.
“The facilities were set at Lockdown at 11:04 (morning, local time) and authorities are on the spot,” the administration said, adding that the incident took place in the area of the 2nd Armor Battle Team.
Four people have been transferred to the hospital and one suspect has been identified by law enforcement authorities.

There is no more information on the incident so far, including the number of victims.
Nearby schools, including Kessler, Murray, Diamond, Button Gwinnett, Joseph Martin and the Snelson Golden Gymnasium, as well as the Liberty County schools, are all in an exclusion.
The area of the 2nd Brigade is also in an exclusion state and all the gates of Fort Stewart are currently closed.
