Video: With artificial intelligence the teaching of ancient Greek in Greek Education – proud of Eugenia Manolidou’s initiative is said by Adonis Georgiadis

In her initiative Eugenia Manolidou For the application of artificial intelligence in the teaching of ancient Greek by Greek education, it refers to its posting Adonis Georgiadis.

It even presents a video with the mythological birth of the goddess Athena from the head of Zeus, which is “seen as a movie and has humor and interest”.

“Even better is that you understand what you hear though it is ancient Greek,” he adds.

The birth of the Athenians With the help of artificial intelligence

The post by Adonis Georgiades.

I am proud of this new @manolidoue initiative with the application of artificial intelligence in the teaching of ancient Greek by @ellinikiiagogi.

Watch it and you will understand it is seen as a movie and has humor and interest. Even better is that you understand what you hear, though ancient Greek. See it:

The video presents the mythical scene of the birth of the goddess Atinas from Zeus’s head, as described in Lucian’s work “The Dialogues.” The authentic excerpt (Hephaestus and Zeus) is a characteristic example of a satirical dialogue, with intense theatricality, humor and literary quality.

In Greek education, we retained the ancient form of language and created a slightly simplified theatrical text, adapted to the students’ abilities. The pension is clearer, the narrative structure enhanced, while the basic vocabulary and the iconic phrases (eg “daughter of the lazy”, “jumping and fire”) remain unchanged.

Teaching Target:
– Understanding the ancient myth
– Familiarity with dialogue structure
– Active intake of language through action, rhythm and image
– Promoting mythology as a carrier of symbolism.

The final video was created with artificial intelligence, based on the pedagogical dialogue taught in the classroom, with a digital editing of Alexander Manolides.

This approach is not aimed at simplifying or entertaining, but to reactivate the ancient Greek language with a strict commitment to the literary precision and documentation of sources and the active intake of ancient discourse as a tool of thought, expression and understanding of culture.
