Telephone contact with the president of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenski, The Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, had on Tuesday afternoon (5/8).
The conversation was announced by the Ukrainian president through a post on the X platform (formerly Twitter), noting that the debate focused on strengthening Ukraine’s defense, especially at a time when Russian attacks have intensified on many fronts of the war.
The conversation is part of the broader context of international diplomatic support for Ukraine, with Zelenski expressing his gratitude to Greece for its continued support.
“I talked to the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis. We are coordinating our movements and looking for opportunities to offer more protection to the Ukrainians, “Zelenski wrote and referred to the content of the communication.
“We discussed the strengthening of the potential of our Air Force. This is very important especially now that Russia is increasingly attacking Ukraine.
