A underage just 17 years old was arrested in Serres by Greek policehaving committed no less than 18 vehicle thefts within just two months.
According to the Greek Police, the minor had already been repeatedly convicted of similar offenses. His arrest was made after stealing a scooter between July 29 and August 1st, which he then left causing serious damage.
Since last June, either alone or with associates, he has been allegedly stolen by another 17 vehicles, while unsuccessfully attempted to steal a motorcycle. After brief use, he left the vehicles causing damage, and in some cases removed money, personal items and accessories.
Officers also resolved three more burglaries in stores, where the 17 -year -old had removed a total of 45 euros, vehicle keys and personal belongings.
The minor had already had seven convictions on distinguished thefts, dangerous bodily harm and drug law violations. He had been imposed on him for a minors’ institution for five years.
Police investigation is continuing to identify any associates and their possible involvement in other cases. The detainee will be referred to the competent prosecutor.
