The Ukrainian army announced today (02.08.2025) that it has hit, launching drones, oil facilities in Russia, including a large refinery as well as a military airport for unmanned aircraft and an electronic plant.
In a statement to the Telegram, Ukraine’s unmanned systems said they had hit the oil refinery in Riazan, about 180 kilometers southeast of Moscow, causing fire to its premises.
Ukrainian drone strikes targeted Russian oil refineries, including the Novokuybyshevsk facility in the Samara region and the Ryazan refinery. The attacks ignited large fires and explosions, disrupting fuel production and supplies critical to Russian military operations.

According to the same source, the Annanefteprodukt fuel storage facilities in the Voronez area bordered with northeast Ukraine were also affected.

The announcement does not specify how the facilities were affected, but the forces of unmanned Ukraine systems specialize in war operations with drones, including long -distance blows.
For the time being, Russia has not commented on the reported attacks on its infrastructure.
In addition, the Ukrainian Intelligence Service (SBU) announced that unmanned aircraft hit the Russian military airport Primorsko-Akhtarsk, which is used to launch long-range drones in Ukraine.

The daily report of the Russian Ministry of Defense is known that Russian defense systems broke a total of 338 Ukrainian unmanned aircraft at night. It is not mentioned how many overall Ukrainian drones were fired.
