World Indoor Athletics: Greek Mission departs Wednesday night for China

The National Men’s and Women’s National Team departs on Wednesday (19/3/25) to China to participate in the World Indoor Track Championships in Nanjing, which will take place from March 21st to 23rd.

The Greek mission consists of two medals with medals at the Paris Olympics, with all members aiming to return from the closed track and field hosted in China, with the best possible performance.

Miltos Tentoglou (length) and Emmanuel Karalis (in the short) are the big favorites in their races with the first being ready to claim the third consecutive gold medal in the length and the second hunting to “mate” last year’s medal.

Polynesian Emmaouilidou (60 m), Dimitra Tsoukala (60 m) and Sofia Iosifidou (60 m) are still involved in the team (60 m).

The Greek team will fly at 21.35 on the TK1846 flight and will reach Nanjing on the 20th month by flight from Istanbul.
