“The octopus began to go out, climbing over the glass. Me and my girlfriend didn’t know what to do. There were no employees around, so we started shouting for help, “Tarin told the KSAT local network.
When an employee appeared, he allegedly said, “Oh, today they are very playful,” referring to the animal, but he could not remove it. Eventually it took three employees and five minutes to release the child from their tentacles.
The mother complained, claiming that her son “suffered extensive bruises from suction cups” and that “officials on the spot downgraded the incident”.
In a video she posted on Tiktok, she appears to be struggling with the same octopus that has stuck in her hand. She explains that “if she really wanted, she could literally bite me”, adding: “she just loves people.”
Tarin made it clear that she does not want punishment for the animal, but is worried about public safety.
