New European funding has been jointly secured by PPC and PPC Blue Romania through the “connecting Europe” funding mechanism (CEF) for the installation and operation of high -power (DC) public charging.
As part of the joint project “East Europe Electric Route” (Blue Route 3e), the installation and operation of a total of 28 speeds with a minimum output power of 150 kW each as well as 32 kW output with a minimum of 350 kW exit.
The new superstarists will be placed in 29 sites along the Trans -European Transport Network in Romania and Greece, creating and enhancing a reliable network accessible network of rapid recharge stations for both LDV (LDV) and heavy (HDV) electric vehicles.
Blueroute 3e project aims to contribute to the recession of road transport and meet EU objectives for climate neutrality and zero pollution by 2050.
In the context of the Common Greece -Romanian proposal, “East Europe Electric Route” (Blue Route 3e), the part of the project to be implemented by PPC Blue in Greece concerns the installation of 16 points for light electric vehicles, with a minimum of 150 kW output in 10 areas.
This is the second European funding provided by PPC Blue through the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) mechanism, while the project “Electrifying South East Europe Road Transport” (ESEERT), which is at an advanced implementation stage and concerns 34 speeds for lightweight electricity in 13 areas of the country.
General Manager Miltiadis Babilis said that “through the collaborative joint project” East Europe Electric Route “the infrastructure of the Trans -European Transport Network in Greece & Romania is significantly enhanced. PPC Blue invests in its strategic development of its network, with the addition of new high -power transfers to key points on the Greek road network, thereby facilitating electricity travel. The PPC Group continues its journey to green mobility in the context of European standards for a climate neutral continent. “
PPC, responding to its commitment to sustainable development and environmental protection, recognized its role in penetrating and developing electricity in the country. By vehicle, the PPC Blue Brand offers integrated services by making electricity accessible and accessible to everyone through its charger network, with a total of more than 2,800 charging points.
PPC continues to invest, constantly adding new chargers, reinforcing existing infrastructure and facilitating travel and the daily lives of electric vehicles.
