Britain: Demonstrations in Scotland against Donald Trump’s visit

Demonstrations took place on Saturday (July 26, 2025) in Edinburgh, its capital Scotlandand in Aberdin, in the northeast part of the country, against the visit of the US President Donald Trump. The mobilizations were organized by the Stop Trump Coalition initiative.

Donald Trump is in Scotland, where he is involved in his favorite sport, golf, on the stadiums in Turnbury and Balmmed, under increased security measures.

In front of the US Consulate in Edinburgh and on the streets of Aberdin, protesters held placards with the slogan “Scotland Hates Trump” (Scotland hates Trump) as well as Palestinian flags.

In Aberdin, a man was holding a placard with the face of the American tycoon dyed red and devil horns, according to footage by the French News Agency (AFP).
