Special term programs are aimed at men and women studying in higher education institutions or higher military educational institutions, as well as postgraduate students and doctoral candidates.

With the acquisition of the title, the academic part of the Special Technical Program completes and begins the provision of compulsory military service, for a specific number of years, to research programs and units/services of the Armed Forces, in specialties related to the subject of study.
