AEK – Hapoel Ber Seva 1-0: Victory and qualifying for the Union in the Conference League

OR AEK won with 1-0 the Hapoel Ber Seva At Opap Arena, thanks to a goal by Filipe Relvas and took the lead from the first game of the two teams in the Conference League qualifiers.

Having a very good picture of the longer match, AEK could have scored more goals in the match, but even so, he became the favorite to qualify for Hapoel Ber Seva, ahead of the rematch in the Conference League.

Leading Zini and excellent counterattack development, the Union “fought” for a “clean” qualifying score from the first game, but showed capable of “sealing” the qualification in the second match of Hungary.

The game

AEK got stronger into the match and tried to impose its pace on the match, creating the first goal for a goal. Only in the 9th minute, Koita made a nice cross from the right and Zini took the head on the first beam, but sent the ball out.

Hapoel then reacted to the “pressure” of the Union and had her own chance to goals at 14 ′, with Zlatanovic scoring with one close to the home side, but without finding out.

The game was “open” then, with the two teams looking for a goal, but not many good times. AEK had two Mukoundi heads that did not find nets, with the second forcing the Israeli goalkeeper in a difficult rebound. However, Athanasiadis also had to make an impressive intervention for the Union, rejecting Kangua’s shot after a counter.

The 0-0 did not change so in the first half, with AEK getting stronger in the second half and quickly finding a goal. Following Zini’s energy and finish by Pierre up close, the Union won a corner at 50 ′, scoring from it by Relvas with a header, making it 1-0 with his first goal with the yellow and black jersey.

The AEK could even score a second goal shortly after, but a flawless counterattack by Nikolic’s team was completed with a shot by Pierre, which was fired by Hapoel’s goalkeeper. Two good but inappropriate efforts followed for Hapoel, with Mizrachi and Ghana, and the Union had a new opportunity for a goal.

After another nice aggressive development, Lubisic pulled Zini in a shot, but the young AEK striker failed to defeat Elias. Even closer to the goal, Nikolic’s team was 77 ′, but Marshall made a bad place after Zini’s excellent counterattack.

The 1-0 did not change until the match finale, with AEK not taking full advantage of its appearance, but reaching a 1-0 win and taking a qualifying lead for the next phase of the Conference League.
