Wall Street: In a new record S&P 500 and Nasdaq

S&P 500 recorded a record record and Nasdaq In Wall Street today Thursday (24.7.2025), after Alphabet’s enhanced revenue and quarter profits that gave boost to the markers.

The wide market index rose 0.07% and closed to 6,363.35, while Nasdaq, with high technology companies, rose 0.18% and closed at 21.057.96. The Dow Jones industrial index fell 316.38 points, or 0.70%, and closed at 44,693.91 points.

Dow of 30 shares slowed down from IBM shares, which fell more than 7% after announcing the results of the second quarter, which were lower than expectations. The main indicators significantly reduced their profits as the meeting came to an end.

Both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq had a new intra -day historically high earlier at the meeting, enhanced by the rise of 1% of Alphabet’s shares, after Google’s parent company announced profits and revenue for the second quarter that exceeded expectations.

Along with IBM, profits were reduced by Tesla’s losses, which fell 8% after revenue from car sales revenue for a second consecutive quarter.
