He also said that “some people – what is the importance of what origin is, unless the Israelis have lost human property – have paid the ticket on their ship and have chosen to vacation in Greece. And some people go by force – for whatever purposes they have in mind – and hinder them.
I find this tragic, very offensive to Greece. I want to apologize to people. I want to send a message of great alliance and friendship to Israel. To say that the Israelis in Greece are welcome and that in Greece anti -Semitism cannot exist.
He also pointed out: “Because I hear a lot of criticism of the government, to say that there were two prosecutors present there and they found whether or not there should be intervention.”
The incident in Syros

About 300 people gathered on Tuesday morning (22/07) in its port Ermoupolis to Syrosprotesting the presence of the cruise ship.
Citizens participated in the protest, Members of Associations and Local Organizationswho held Palestinian flags and posted banners that read: “Stop Genocide”, expressing their opposition to the events that take place in the Middle East.
Mobilization was completed by course along the coastal avenue, with the direction of Kanari Square.
