At least one man was killed on Monday (21.07.2025), as one aircraft crashed on a school unit in Dhaka in Bangladesh.
The Bangladeshi Army’s Public Relations Office confirmed in a brief announcement that it was the F-7 BGI training aircraft, belonging to the Air Force, according to the army and a Fire Brigade official cited by the Reuters news agency.
The aircraft crashed into a campus of the Milestone School and College in the Uttara area of Dhaka, where children were also. A fire broke out on the spot and black smoke was raised due to the fierce crash.
According to reports, over 100 are injured, with many of them already being taken to a hospital with serious injuries and burns.
No further details were mentioned on the victims by the Fire Brigade Lima Han official who confirmed one dead from the crash.

A spokesman for the Milestone School and College confirmed that the aircraft crashed near the campus gate while the lessons were ongoing.
“The plane fell to the gate and crashed close. A lesson was in progress where the plane crashed, “he said.

College teachers and staff made rescue efforts before army and fire officers arrived.

One professor said the plane crashed on the front of a three -storey school building, trapping several students.
Jamuna TV reported that at least 13 people, including students, were injured. Firefighters and rescuers from the army rushed to the spot.
According to first reports, one dead is alleged to be the driver of the aircraft.

Bangladeshi’s chief adviser, Muhammad Juns, said the government would investigate the cause of the accident and ensure any form of help.
“The loss suffered by the Air Force, students, parents, teachers and staff of Milestone School and College, as well as others, is irreparable in this accident. This is a moment of deep sadness for the nation, “he said.
This is the second Chinese f-7 crash this year. Last month, a Myanmar Air Force F-7 crashed in the Sagaing area, killing the pilot, raising concerns about the quality of the defensive equipment produced by Beijing.
