Visit to Milos State Airport with on -the -spot inspection of the CAA Administration

Visit-Infringement At the Milos State Airport, its administration made Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)as part of its scheduled visits to the regional airports under its management. The purpose of the visit was to record any problems, as well as to monitor upgrade and improvement work.

In particular, the Governor of the CAA, Mr. George Sounatsos, Accompanied by the Deputy Commander of Airports, Mr. Alexandros Karydis, and the Telecommunications Management Manager, Mr. Antonis Stavrianoudakis, met with the Airport officials, as well as with the Mayor of Milos, Mr. Emmanouil. During the meeting, the CAA executives thanked the mayor for his continued support for the airport, and discussed issues concerning the further strengthening of cooperation between the municipality and the service.

During the visit, an autopsy was carried out on the aesthetic and functional upgrades of the already completed terminal, such as:

  1. the placement of new floor tiles,
  2. The operation of a new microphone system, offering of airlines, and
  3. The defibrillator, polite sponsorship of Mr. V. Panoriou – Airline Employee at Milos Airport – in memory of his father, Emmanuel Panoriou, to the Municipality
  4. Milos, for the purpose of installing it at airport.

With the aim of continuously upgrading the passenger public experience and improving the services provided, solutions were examined that would contribute to accelerating the relevant procedures, such as:

  1. The strengthening of cleaning services,
  2. the supply of new seats in the waiting area, and
  3. The renovation of sanitary facilities.

The administration of the CAA, through on -the -spot visits, confirms its commitment to the vision for the full functional competence of the airports under its supervision, with the aim of improving the quality of services provided, upgrading the experience of passengers and contributing to local development.
