Britain: Episodes outside of Refugees – injured 8 police officers in clashes with protesters

Essex’s Police remain in alert state in Britainafter episodes during demonstrations marked on Thursday night (17.07.2025) outside a hotel where refugees reside.

A total of eight police officers were injured in clashes with protesters outside a hotel believed to host immigrants, as announced by Essex police in Britain. In recent days, many organized mobilizations have taken place in the area, after a 38 -year -old man accused of three sexual attacks allegedly applied for asylum.

Shots that appeared showed people approaching and throwing objects into a Van police officer parked outside the Bell Hotel in Eping.

As the vehicle was removed, a person climbed to the front and held his hands high. The images show a person kicking the windshield of the vehicle, crushing it completely, while the crowd watched him.

The protesters were flying objects, eggs and fired fireworks outside the hotel, on the occasion of the 38 -year -old charges.

The Essex police, where the Epig is subject, attributed the incidents to people who “came from other areas”. Video calling people to go down to the demonstration were circulating online. There were many well -known far -right activists in the Eping.

“We have set up a group of police officers who undertook to analyze the footage of security cameras and traffic cameras to identify those responsible,” said one local police spokesman, Stewart Huper.

“Those who participated can expect that we will knock on the door,” he added.

Police have warned that it would remain alert all weekend to prevent any new incidents. He recalled that he supports the right to a peaceful demonstration but would not tolerate “violence and vandalism”.

The situation is reminiscent of the riots that occurred last summer, after the assassination of three little girls by a British, originally from Rwanda, in Southport, northwestern England. Protesters then attacked hotels where asylum seekers, in many cities, attempting to set fire to one of them in the city of Rutherham.
