We remember those impressive images published by Mosad, his external information service Israelshowing agents to attempt deeply within the Irana few days after the unprecedented attack launched by the Israeli army against Iranian nuclear and military installations by the 13 to 24 June 2025.
These pictures show agents of Israel’s Mosad Information Service Iran the morning of the attack.
And while Mosad was praised for this action -which allowed the identification and extermination of much of the Iranian military leadership and nuclear scientists -, a French newspaper report. “The world” reveals that Israel has discovered, amazed, the existence of its territory spying groups acting on behalf of his enemy.
These spies, the newspaper says, may have helped Iran direct its rockets to their goals during the “twelve -day war” between the two countries, from June 13th to June 24th. Although the full list of affected targets has not been made public, at least six Israeli military bases were bombed, including the Bases of Tel Nof (in the center of the country) and Glillot (near Tel Aviv), as well as Mosad’s headquarters and the famous Institute. These results show, according to Israeli security services, that the information had been collected long before the recent conflict.
Israeli citizens in Iran’s service
It is an unprecedented espionage wave in the history of Israel. Dozens of Israeli Jewish citizens, all born in Israel, have been arrested in recent weeks for alleged espionage in favor of Iran. The arrests were made by the Israeli police and the Sin Beet internal security service and revealed the existence of local teams working with Tehran.
The Israeli authorities are concerned about the increase in Israelis that are willing to work for Iran. According to Le Monde, some are pushed by the rejection of the Netanyahu government or a feeling of marginalization.

One suspect allegedly acknowledged that the Israeli prime minister was among the potential goals.
Facing this wave, the newspaper notes, the authorities opened a special wing in the Damon prison, near Haifa, to isolate the suspects, mainly from Palestinian prisoners.
Recruitment through social networks
The newspaper cites Alex Nemirovsky, head of the Lahav 433 unit, which is involved in the most serious crimes and the fight against espionage. He said that “these are not people who were simply recruited to take some photos or write slogans, but much more serious cases”, denying lawyers who claim that their clients were ignoring the true identity of their employers.
The recruited were not professionals but often young Israelis, sometimes minors or military, from marginalized environments or families coming from the former USSR.
The recruitment was done through social networks, with anonymous ads that promised moderate pay, of around $ 100 to $ 1000, often in cryptocurrency.
A former Sin Beth officer, Salom Ben Hanan, explains that the “first missions” of these agents were usually painless, such as creating graffiti against Netanyahu or taking photos, with the aim of checking their dedication.
Nemovsky also described that one of these circuits allegedly carried out nearly 600 recognition companies over two years, renting homes near military bases or establishing a fake tourist agency. Each member had a clear role: recognition, raising money or support. Overall, Iran reportedly paid them up to $ 300,000.
