AADE: Two -year sealing of fuel service due to fraudulent

In a two -year sealing station installation fuel Argyroupoli was proceeded today (15.7.2025) its customs auditors AADEafter finding disposal of adulterated petrol 95 ron.

Specifically, after a sampling carried out by the Ministry of Environment and Energy Traffic and Storage Control and Storage (KEDAK), a sample of gasoline (95 RON) was sent to the chemical services of AADE for analyzing its chemical composition. The analysis found that it was abnormal and distorted fuel.

It is noted that, during the interval between the sampling and the final opinion by the state’s chemical services, the service station had changed exploits and had received a new license with a different VAT.

However, this service station had previously been employed by the authorities – due to a bombing that had occurred at the expense of the establishment – and was within the “perimeter” of the stations that AADE was monitoring the prosecutors.

In addition, through its information systems, AADE found that the station did not transmit data to the integrated Inflow of Fuel Inflow – Output Monitoring System, resulting in the customs auditors of the 4th Piraeus Technical University to seal the installation.

In addition to the two -year sealing, additional measures will be imposed, such as:

  • Administrative penalties of over 150,000 euros,
  • Definitive removal of the service license,
  • Publication of the details of the offenders on the AADE website.
