In the final straight, Alban Lafon’s move from Nantes to Panathinaic. On Tuesday afternoon (15/7) the French L ‘Equipe spoke of a given agreement, but the deal has not yet been sealed yet, as some details are left in the negotiations of the two clubs.
Panathinaikos is a matter of hours to come to the final agreement, with the 26 -year -old goalkeeper (who is committed to a contract until June 2027 with Nantes), with himself signing a loan for a year, without a market option.
Panathinaikos will fully cover his contract (1.7 to 1.8m euros gross), and there will be an informal “gentlemen” between the two teams to have the “Greens” in the first … speech in the summer of 2026, if they wish at that time to make their own Lafon.
If everything is going to be planning, it is very likely even on Wednesday (16/7) that Lafon will be in Athens to undergo medical examinations and sign the Greens, being their fourth summer acquisition and entering the euro-list of the Rangers.
