Countless questions surrounding what the 35-year-old did, lived and thought policeman who was physically, psychologically and sexually abused along with her children by her police officer husband Parliament.
From what it seems, the 35-year-old who was a victim of the police officer of the Parliament, had several opportunities to talk about the torture she was experiencing but she did not.
One of those was in February, when she filed a domestic violence lawsuit against her husband. Then not only had she not revealed the horrors she was experiencing but she had taught 3 of her 5 children not to tell the police child psychologists about their abuse.
As she testified to the police, the police officer of the Parliament required the children to keep their mouths shut and had her convince them not to reveal what they were experiencing.
“Their father forced them to lie that he had never beaten them and even had me lecture them on what to say. In their examination they obviously lied and never admitted anything. They were never forensically examined,” he said.
Another opportunity that the 35-year-old had but didn’t take was when the teachers saw the signs of abuse on her children’s bodies. Unfortunately, even then the police officer rushed to cover her husband.
“Every time the teachers told me something or saw marks on their body, and they asked me, I always covered it up with various excuses,” he testified.
These statements were also confirmed by one of the family’s daughters.
“My sister had eaten a lot of wood, she had a black eye and she had gone to school, but our father said, ‘don’t say that happened, say you hit somewhere, fell somewhere and hit.’ Our mom said “don’t say anything, somewhere”, said the minor victim of abuse.
“The mother had many opportunities to report the abuser, but it is questionable that not only did she not do it, but according to what she reports, she participated in the abuse,” said Giorgos Kalliakmanis about the new revelations.
The mother of the Parliament police officer testified today as a witness saying that she knew about the beatings and not about the rapes.
She herself is thinking of testifying against her daughter-in-law as well.
