OR Spain was shocked by earthquake 5.5 degrees on the Richter scale just hours after the country was destroyed by floods and heavy rainfall.
The earthquake “shaken southern Spain, including the popular tourist centers Costa del Sol and Alicante, around 7am Monday (14.07.2025).
In Almeria, the roof of an airport collapsed after the earthquake from which at least 50 cities were seized, while an exhibition car was also damaged by the vibrations.
An airport worker told the local media: “We heard some noises one after another and then a powerful blow and a large cloud of dust.

It scared us a lot. There were airport workers who drank the first coffee of the day, but fortunately no one was injured. “
The Spanish newspaper El País said that Granada, Malaga and Haen, along with Murcia, Alicante and Albatheus to the east, were among the most affected areas.

In Huercal de Almeria, a Toyota exhibition space was damaged. An image showed the ceiling collapsing as it had detached with a movie.

The earthquake occurred just a day after the heavy rains that caused chaos on the streets, businesses and holiday plans in much of northeast Spain.
