A new page opens for the domestic banking system, as Attica Bank merger with the Pancreas Bank leads to its creation Create Bankas announced today (10.7.2025) by the Bank’s Managing Director, Eleni Brettou, during the General Meeting of shareholders.
Credia Bank’s main objective, according to Ms Brettou, is the functional integration that will be completed by the fall of 2025. The vision of the new bank is based on the strong course already recorded in 2024, with a credit expansion of around € 1 billion and disbursement of € 2.3 billion.
This year has been characterized by decisive steps, such as completing the legal merger in record time, successful recapitalization, steady profitability, and a significant reduction in non -performing loans.
According to Mrs. Brettou, these changes are “permanent and definitive”, marking a healthy and stable future for the bank.
It is noted that the Non -performing Operations (NPEs) were limited to 2.8%, while the group’s deposits increased by 93%, reaching € 6.1 billion.
The ambitious targets for 2027 was set by Credia Bank with a capital return of more than 20%, a cost to revenue below 40% and profitability forecasts exceeding € 280 million.
