Yemen’s Houthi rebels announced that The Greek -owned Magic Seas merchant ship hit on Sunday, sank today in the Red Sea.
The video shows tobacco emerging from the deck and glasses crushing the floor, and then getting a water in the accommodation chambers and several crew members wearing lifejackets.
The United Arab Emirates announced on Monday that they have successfully rescued all 22 Magic Seas passengers, after the Safeen Prism of the AD Ports Group responded to a hazard signal in the Red Sea.
According to announcements by UK Maritime Trade Operations and the British Ambrey Security Society, which are watching incidents in the area, the ship initially approached eight small boats that opened fire and launched rockets.
The ship’s guards responded by opening fire, and then the ship was hit by four remote control vessels or unmanned surface vehicles (USV) and targeted with rockets.
“Two of the USV crashed on the left side of the ship, causing damage to the load,” Ambrey said. UKMTO reported that the blows caused fire on the ship.

The “Magic Seas” was watered after the attack and remained at risk of sinking, according to a spokesman for the ship’s management company Michalis Vodouroglou. The ship transported iron and fertilizer from China to Turkey.
Houthi claimed that they hit it because it had previously stopped Israeli ports.
