A small “dive” will be made by temperature throughout the country today (12.12.2024) while the weather it will be slightly rainy mainly in the east.
According to EMY’s weather forecast, there will be temporarily increased clouds throughout the country and rain will occur in eastern Macedonia, Thrace, the islands of the northeastern Aegean, Sporades and Evia. The temperature in the north will reach 13 to 15 degrees.
In the Ionian Sea and the rest of the continental regions, 16 to 18 degrees and in the Cyclades, Crete and the Dodecanese, 19 to 20 degrees Celsius.
Visibility in the morning and evening hours in the Ionian and continental areas will be locally limited and fog will form.
Westerly winds will be variably light. In the east they will blow from north directions 3 to 4, locally in the Aegean up to 5 and in the southern Dodecanese up to 6 Beaufort.
Attica
Weather: Partly cloudy in the morning hours and gradually clear.
Winds: Northerly 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 09 to 18 degrees Celsius.
Thessaloniki
Weather: Partly cloudy in the morning hours and gradually clear.
Winds: North northwest 3 to 4 and from evening to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 05 to 14 degrees Celsius.
Macedonia – Thrace
Weather: A few clouds in places increased in eastern Macedonia and Thrace where there will be light local rains.
Winds: North northeast 3 to 4 and from the afternoon locally up to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 05 to 15 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia 4 to 5 degrees lower.
Ionian Islands – Epirus – Western Mainland – Western Peloponnese
Weather: A few temporary clouds in places in the morning and evening hours increased.
Winds: Variable patients.
Temperature: From 09 to 18 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus 4 to 5 degrees lower.
Eastern Mainland – Evia – Eastern Peloponnese
Weather: A few clouds in places increased with the possibility of weak local rains from the afternoon in Evia.
Winds: Northerly 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 06 to 18 degrees Celsius.
Cyclades – Crete
Weather: A few clouds increased in places.
Winds: Northerly 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 13 to 19, locally in Crete up to 20 degrees Celsius.
Eastern Aegean Islands – Dodecanese
Weather: In the islands of the eastern Aegean few clouds temporarily increased in the morning hours with local rains in the north. In the Dodecanese it is generally sunny.
Winds: North northwest 3 to 5 and gradually to the south locally up to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 10 to 17 and locally in the Dodecanese up to 19 degrees Celsius.
Thessaly
Weather: A few clouds, in places increased from the afternoon in the Sporades where there is a possibility of light local rain.
Winds: Variable 3 and in the Sporades north northwest to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 05 to 15 degrees Celsius.
