Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei attended a religious event on Saturday (05/07/2025), according to a video broadcast by his state -run media Iran.
This is Ali Khamenei’s first public appearance from implementing the ceasefire of Iran’s 12 -day air war with Israel on June 24.
The video shows Ayatollah Khamenei to greet the faithful in a mosque during a ceremony for the anniversary of Imam Hussein’s death during the Battle of Kerbala, Asura Day, considered an important day by Shiite Muslims.

The latest appearance of Ayatollah Khamenei took place on June 18 via a video fog during the conflict with Israel.
