As part of his visit to the Athenian state, the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited today Vatopedi Monasterywhere he was welcomed by the prices provided for the head of the state from the strict typical of Mount Athos, and the devoted “chant – prime minister” was also chanted.
Followed by the address by the Abbot Ephraim and the prime minister’s disagreement. Kyriakos Mitsotakis in his disagreement remembered his youth when he visited the Holy Monastery with his father, Konstantinos Mitsotakis, and as he said it was his desire to sit on this same balcony again.
The abbot of the Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi Elder Ephraim referred to that visit and commented that it was important that Kyriakos Mitsotakis now comes with his son.
The Greek Prime Minister worshiped the Holy Zone of the Virgin Mary, the Tima of St. John Chrysostom and then led to the Synod. He then toured the Holy Monastery and talked to the members of the monastic community.

Earlier, in the afternoon, the prime minister also visited the Holy Monastery of Iberia, where he was also admitted to the proper honors, followed by an address by Elder Basil Gondikakis and the prime minister’s disagreement, as well as a guided tour of the Monastery and meeting with his members.
