In ‘orange’ alarm Attica – risk of fire from high temperatures and strong winds

A very high risk of fire (risk category 4) is currently foreseen, Friday, in Attica, Kythira, Evia, areas of the Peloponnese and the Northern Aegean, according to the Fire Risk prediction map issued by the General Secretariat for Civil Protection of Civil Protection.

In particular very high risk of fire (risk category 4) is provided for the following areas:

• Attica Region (including the island of Kythera)

• Region of Central Greece (Evia IP)

• Peloponnese Region (Corinthia, IP of Argolida, IP of Laconia)
